S.C. Myers & Associates, Inc. (SCM&A) was selected by the American University to provide professional consulting services for the construction renovation of several buildings and facilities, within the University’s complex. The projects included major renovation and architectural improvement to the Ward Circle Building, the Myer Hutchins Building, and the Fitness Center. As part of the initial tasks, SCM&A prepared independent cost estimates, conducted analysis on high cost items, provided value engineering review, and assisted the University in analyzing bids from general contractors. The services also included scheduling review, trend analysis, and other management and technical support services during the construction phase.
