S.C. Myers & Associates, Inc. (SCM&A) provided construction management services to the Baltimore City Public School System to coordinate all aspects of construction for the renovation and addition to the Lakeland Elementary / Middle School.

The three-phase project called for the renovation of the existing facility and the new construction of a ten-classroom addition including mechanical / electrical upgrades throughout. In addition, the exterior site work included new shrubbery and fencing at the building’s perimeter, the re-surfacing of the staff parking lot and toddler lot as well as the addition of a new asphalt play court. Several program modifications were incorporated during the construction phase to include staff / media rooms, pre-kindergarten classroom addition, security/camera system upgrades as well as public restrooms.
