S.C. Myers & Associates, Inc. (SCM&A) was founded in 1988 as a cost/construction management company serving government agencies, architectural and engineering firms, and developers. Since then, SCM&A has become a leader in providing construction/cost management, value, engineering, A/E and environmental suport services. Our emphasis on providing quality services, within budget and on time, has rewarded us with steady growth.
In 1993, SCM&A was certified by the Small Business Administration 8(a) program. SCM&A is also certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by Montgomery County Parks and Planning Commission (MNCPPC) and most state, county, and city agencies in the northeast.
Our Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Program is designed to ensure that the technical and presentation requirements are held to he highest standards. Our Conflict of Interest (COI) program is designed in conformance with FAR to ensure that potential conflicts are identified and addressed prior to the start of a project.
With a staff of more than fifty employees, SCM&A represents an impressive track record of experience and credentials. Our technical staff includes Professional Engineers, Certified Cost Engineers/Estimators, Certified Value Engineering Specialists, Claim Specialists, Senior Construction Inspectors/Resident Engineers, and Construction Managers. We are presently working on some of the largest construction projects locally, nationally and internationally. We use quality assurance/quality control throughout the project development phases to ensure that the technical and presentation requirements are held to the highest standards.
SCM&A has become a respected company in providing total cost/construction management services to public and private sector projects. SCM&A's capabilities include, but are not limited to quantity surveying, computerized cost estimating, cost analysis, value engineering, scheduling, constructability review, construction inspection and management, claim negotiation, bid analysis, and change order estimating.
